JOB VACANCY: Accountant (2 Positions)
📍 Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Vindar
Freight and Logistics Ltd is looking for two detail-oriented and
experienced Accountants to join our growing finance team. The ideal
candidates will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial
records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable
regulations and internal policies.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure proper documentation
Prepare and maintain financial reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Process payments, manage accounts payable and receivable
Handle statutory withholding and compliance with tax regulations
Ensure compliance with TRA and other regulatory requirements, including ability to navigate the TRA portal
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and assist in audits
Assist in ensuring compliance with auditing and reporting standards
Assist in preparation of financial statements in alignment with IFRS and other regulatory frameworks
Assist to prepare budgets in compliance with company policies
Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
Must have passed Intermediate Level; CPA is an added advantage
Proficient in Tally accounting software
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding
Strong understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable, statutory withholding, and tax compliance
Ability to navigate the TRA portal efficiently
Proficient in other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) and MS Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
