Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Development Manager, you will provide strategic technical direction and manage multiple technical teams. You'll oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of product features, as well as all support and maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for driving efficiency, innovation, and people development within your environments.
What We're Looking For
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in software development management, with a track record of leading agile teams.
Expertise: Experience in either back-end or front-end development, with a strong ability to craft roadmaps and manage budgets.
Leadership: You are a skilled leader who can guide and support a technical team, establish priorities, and influence stakeholders across the business.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Information Technology is required. An Honours Degree is preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of people management, budgeting, project management, and business analysis principles. Knowledge of the banking industry and agile development principles is a definite plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, decision-making, influencing, and negotiation skills.
