What You'll Do
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
Team Leadership: Managing the activities of your team to ensure a smooth flow of products and services to clients.
Strategic Planning: Compiling sales plans and forecasts, and collaborating with administration, sales, and technical departments.
Client Engagement: Building strong relationships with stakeholders and focusing on customer-centric solutions.
Reporting: Taking ownership of monthly planning and reporting to track progress and success.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Experience: At least 2 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a management role, preferably within the financial services industry.
Qualifications:
A Grade 12 certificate.
Relevant qualification and experience in line with the FSCA's requirements (30 or 60 credits for those who joined before 2010; a full NQF Level 4 qualification for those who joined after 2010).
You must have an RE 5 certificate and meet the Class of Business requirements.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, policies, and standards.
An understanding of people management practices and principles.
The ability to manage complexity, plan effectively, and direct work.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on customer needs.
