TALA Dealer School, part of the Sales & Dealer Network Division in Johannesburg, is looking for a talented Assistant Manager: Sales and Product Training to join their team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to design, develop, and deliver high-impact training that will shape the skills of sales executives in the motor industry.

Your Key Responsibilities

As the Assistant Manager, you will be a key driver of our training programs. Your main duties will include:

  • Training Design and Development: Designing, developing, and quality-assuring a wide range of training materials, including online content and resources for roadshows and exhibitions.

  • Facilitation: Facilitating soft skills and product training, as well as conducting assessments for dealer sales executives and brand ambassadors.

  • Assessment and Reporting: Developing questionnaires for our National Skills Competition and conducting regional assessments. You will also be responsible for generating and monitoring project plans and compiling monthly reports.

  • Strategic Projects: Contributing to special projects by designing and developing content as needed.


What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications and Experience:

    • A relevant NQF Level 6 qualification (e.g., Business Administration).

    • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a sales environment, preferably within the motor industry.

    • Experience as a training facilitator.

    • A background as a qualified Assessor and Moderator would be a definite advantage.

  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

    • Strong computer literacy, particularly in the MS Office package.

    • The ability to gather and analyze information accurately, and to think strategically about work methods.

    • A commitment to our mission and a proactive approach to your work.
