Duty Manager Job Vacancy in Zanzibar
We're Hiring:
Duty Manager
On
behalf of Emirates Leisure Retail Zanzibar we're looking for a
dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee and support the
day-to-day operations of ELRZ and its concessionaires at the airport.
This role is critical in ensuring the seamless and profitable
functioning of our outlets through effective coordination, ensuring the
highest standards of exceptional service delivery and support a
motivated team. Co-ordination with internal and external channels for
the smooth operation of the shops. Ensuring the highest standards of
service, outlets & store presentation, product merchandising and
stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Ensuring a world class experience for the entire customer journey from
arrival, dining and retail experiences including assisting with
purchasing decisions to completing transactions and deliveries.
• Managing budgets, maximizing profitability, and setting/meeting sales targets
•
To manage and develop the team by delivering training where needed,
administering performance appraisals and handling employee relations, in
line with the growth expectations of the business.
•
Manage monthly stock-takes and review results and variances with
relevant departments ensuring that in house control systems/ audit
requirements are adhered to.
• Developing and implementing SOPs
• Providing guidance on best practice in all aspects of the store & outlet activities.
• Ensuring that stock replenishment and store presentation meet correct standards, and product display areas are updated.
• Guiding employees, so that customer enquiries are both diplomatically and professionally handled at all times.
•
Completing administrative tasks and running reports through computer
programs such as Excel, PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook and MRMS.
•
Looking after and reporting on all aspects of the operations to the
Country Operations Manager & Assistant Operations Manager
•
Monitor working practices & implementation of procedures through
store audit to ensure compliance with company standards &
regulations.
• Ensure all kitchen and food and beverage operations comply with all legislated health and licensing guidelines.
• Ensuring that all stock movements are well managed.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Line Manager.
Key Qualification:
Female candidates are preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Retail and Food & Beverage (F&B) operations
At least 3 years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role
Open to Tanzanian nationals only
Flexible
and adaptable – Our operations are open 24/7 as an such requires the
ability to work combinations of both day and night shifts
