Simba Queens through to Morocco after being Crowned the CECAFA Women's  Champions

Simba Queens on Saturday 27th August 2022, qualified to play in the CAF Champions League Finals for Women's Soccer , to be held in Morocco after beating She Corporate of Uganda with a 1-0 goal scored by Corazone with a penalty kick in the 49th minute.

The CECAFA Zone Qualifiers Final game has given Simba Queens the CECAFA Women's Championship as well as qualification to Morocco, the CAF Champions League for Women is played in one country including a total of 8 teams, six Champions from six football zones, one place of the defending champion and the other to the champion of the host country.

After 90 Minutes , the scoreboard at Azam Complex read She Corporate 0-1 Simba Queens in the Final of the African Champions League for Women in the CECAFA zone.

The sole winning goal for the Simba Ladies was scored by Vivian Corazone in the 46th minute from the penalty Spot.

After 45 minutes of the game, neither team was able to get a goal nor a red card for players from both the opposing teams.

It was Joelle Bukuru, a troublesome midfielder in the field belonging to Simba, who was shown a yellow card in the 44th minute of today's game in the first half, and the star of She Corporate Nantango was also shown a yellow card in the second half, in the 86th minute.

It is the first International championship for Simba Queens to win, which is a great record for the Tanzania Soccer fraternity overall.
