CHAN Qualification : Tanzania's Taifa Stars fall to Uganda Cranes in Dar es Salaam

CHAN Qualification : Tanzania's Taifa Stars fall to Uganda Cranes in Dar es Salaam. After losing 1-0 to Uganda Cranes in the first leg of the battle to earn a spot in the International Championship for Domestic Players (CHAN), which will be held in Algeria next year, Tanzania's "Taifa Stars" failed to make effective use of the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

After Stars defender Mohamed Hussein "Tshabalala" was stripped of the ball while attempting to defend possession, Travis Mutyaba scored the Ugandan goal in the 88th minute.

Despite its attackers' lack of attention to detail, the adjustments appeared to increase the Stars team's production as it targeted "The Cranes'" goal line.

In order to reinforce the offensive area, which appeared to lack edge, Poulsen substituted attacking midfielder Farid Mussa with Daniel Lyanga.

However, John Revita, working with his colleague Livingstone Mulondo, is the main reason why the Stars' assailants are unable to breach the Cranes back-line because of the caliber of its defenses.

This outcome makes it difficult for the Stars to win the rematch, which will be played on September 3rd at St. Mary's - Kitende in Entebbe, Uganda.

The victor of the overall contest between these two neighbors in East Africa will automatically qualify for the 2023 championship, which will be held in Algeria from January 13 to February 4, 2023.
