Am I Eligible?
To be considered for the Rhodes Scholarship, you need to meet specific requirements for your citizenship, age, and academic background. It's really important to check the detailed, country-specific eligibility rules on the official Rhodes Scholarship website.

Citizenship & Residency: You must meet the requirements for the Rhodes constituency you're applying through.
Age:
Generally, you need to be 18-24 years old on October 1, 2025 (meaning you were born between October 2, 2000, and October 1, 2007).
If you're in fields like medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, law, or engineering and need to complete internships, you can be 18-25 years old on October 1, 2025 (born between October 2, 1999, and October 1, 2007).
If you finished your first undergraduate degree later than usual, you can be under 27 on October 1, 2025 (born after October 1, 1998) AND you must have completed your first undergraduate degree on or after October 1, 2023.
Education: You'll need an undergraduate degree (usually a Bachelor's) with top-notch grades, equivalent to a First Class Honours Degree. This means your academic background should meet or exceed the entry requirements for your chosen course at Oxford. For medical or pharmacy degrees, the highest classification your university awards (like a Distinction) will be considered equivalent. If you have an Honours degree from a university outside your home country, or if you've already completed a Master's degree in your country, it might boost your chances, as getting into Oxford is highly competitive.
English Language: You must have a high enough standard of English to meet Oxford University's requirements (at the Higher Level).
