We're
hiring a Shipping Line Officer (Export) to join our team in Dar es
Salaam. If you have a strong background in export operations and love
ensuring smooth international shipments, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
1-Manage export bookings and all related documentation (B/L, manifests).
2-Coordinate with partners (agents, ports, transporters) for efficient cargo movement.
3-Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients.
4-Resolve operational issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
5-Handle client inquiries and maintain strong relationships.
6-Monitor and manage vessel schedules
7-Ensure strict adherence to all relevant shipping regulations, international trade laws, and company policies.
8-Generate regular reports on export volumes, operational efficiency, and customer feedback.
Qualifications and Experience:
1-Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
2-1+ years experience in export operations (shipping line/freight forwarding).
3-Solid understanding of export documentation, customs, and international shipping.
4-Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5-Proficiency in shipping software and Microsoft Office.
