Community Liaison Officer Job Opportunity at Sinosky International Limited
The Human Resources Office of Sinosky International Limited who is the sub-contractor of DOCG in the constructions of the Marine Tank and Terminal informs all Tanzanians with the following qualifications and who are ready to work at the Marine Tank and Terminal Project (MTT) at Chongoleani.
1.0 Position – Community Liaison Officer (01 post)
1.1.Qualification:-
• Bachelor degree in Social Science, Sociology, environmental science or other relevant discipline.
• At least 4 years of professional experience conducting stakeholder engagement in rural communities.
• At least 3 years of construction related experience preferred.
• Experience in conducting engagement activities with authorities, including associated protocols.
• High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain good relations with a wide range of stakeholders, including discretion, diplomacy, and ability to manage
conflict and gain consensus.
• High degree of organization and ability to organize team tasks and objectives.
• Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English and Swahili.
• Proven ability to work independently, advance required tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills, with proven attention to detail.
• Proven computer skills, including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, and experience in using data management software preferred.
1.2. Responsibilities:-
• Develop understanding of District, Ward, Village, and Hamlet level stakeholders and how they may be affected by SINOSKY activities.
• Develop understanding of SINOSKY construction activities, work locations (direct and indirect), and type of community engagement required. Keep the community informed of SINOSKY activities.
• Implement SINOSKY stakeholder engagement work plan.
• Interface with SINOSKY Site Representatives and DOCG CLO on construction activities.
• Keep SINOSKY updated on community issues, highlight potential community-related risks for SINOSKY action.
• Record and report community questions and project-related concerns; participate in preparing and providing timely responses.
• Implement Project Grievance Mechanism.
• Maintain detailed records of all stakeholder engagement activities, including minutes of meetings, attendance registers, photos, written records, and maintain a database (hard/soft copy) for sharing with DOCG.
1.3. Duration
The contract shall be for a specific task (Construction Period)

1.5. Work Rotation
He/ She will be working 26 (twenty six) days consecutive and 4 (four) day off
1.6. Place of work
The place of work for this position shall be Chongoleani ward in Tanga city.

Ofisi ya Rasilimali Watu ya Sinosky International Limited ambaye ni Mkandarasi msaidizi wa DOCG kwenye ujenzi wa kituo cha kufadhia mafuta (Marine Tank and Terminal) inawatangazia Watanzania wote wenye sifa na walio tayari kufanya kazi katika eneo la Chongoleani katika Mradi wa Bomba la Mafuta Ghafi la Afrika Mashariki (EACOP).
1.0 Nafasi: Afisa Uhusiano wa Jamii (Nafasi 1)
1.1. Sifa za Mwombaji:-
• Shahada ya kwanza katika Sayansi ya Jamii, Sosholojia, sayansi ya mazingira au taaluma nyingine husika.
• Awe na uzoefu kuanzia miaka 4 kwenye shughuli za ushirikishwaji wa washikadau katika jumuiya za vijijini.
• Awe na uzoefu kuanzia miaka 3 katika miradi ya ujenzi.
• Uzoefu katika kufanya shughuli za ushirikishwaji na mamlaka ikijumuisha itifaki zinazohusiana
• Kiwango cha juu cha ustadi na uwezo wa kuunganisha, kukuza na kudumisha uhusiano mzuri na washikadau ikijumuisha busara ya hali ya juu, Diplomasia na
uwezo wa Kudhibiti migogoro na kupata mwafaka.
• Kiwango cha juu cha mpangilio na uwezo wa kupanga kazi ya timu na malengo muhimu
• Umahiri katika lugha ya Kiingereza na Kiswahili (Kusoma na Kuandika).
• Uwezo wa kufanya kazi chini ya uangalizi mdogo
• Awe mahiri katika uandishi wa ripoti.
• Ustadi wa kompyuta uliothibitishwa, ikiwa ni pamoja na MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS na uzoefu wa kutumia programu ya usimamizi wa data
inayopendelewa.
1.2.Majukumu:-
• Kukuza uelewa wa wadau wa ngazi ya Wilaya, Kata, Kijiji na Kitongoji na jinsi wanavyoweza kuathiriwa na shughuli za Ujenzi zinaratibiwa na SINOSKY.
• Kukuza uelewa kwa jamii juu wa shughuli za ujenzi wa kituo cha mafuta ghafi pamoja na kazi zingine zinazofanyika katika eneo la mradi.
• Kutekeleza mpango kazi wa ushirikishwaji washikadau wa mradi
• Kushirikiana na Msimamizi wa Site wa SINOSKY pamoja na afisa uhusiano wa Jamii wa
DOCG kwenye shughuli za ujenzi.
• Kuijulisha kampuni ya SINOSKY madhara yanayoweza kuikumba jamii kutokana na shughuli za ujenzi.
• Kutunza na kutoa taarifa ya maswali kutoka kwenye jumuiya na masuala mengine yanayohusiana na mradi na kushiriki katika kuandaa na kutoa majibu kwa wakati.
• Kutekeleza mfumo wa utatuzi wa migogoro.
• Kutunza kumbukumbu za kina za ushirikishwaji wa washikadau na taarifa za ziada ikiwa ni pamoja na muhutasari wa vikao, kitabu cha Mahudhurio, Picha na kumbukumbu zilizoandikwa na kutunza kanzidata kwa nakala ngumu na laini kwa ajili ya kushiriki na DOCG.
