Shipping Line Officer - Export Job Vacancy in Dar es Salaam
Job Titles: - SHIPPING LINE OFFICER - EXPORT
Location: - POSTA - DAR ES SALAAM

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and manage export bookings with shipping lines and clients.
2. Prepare and verify export documentation including shipping instructions, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
3. Monitor vessel schedules and ensure timely loading and dispatch of cargo.
4. Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and port authorities.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all export shipments.
6. Ensure adherence to international shipping laws, Incoterms, and company policies.
7. Handle customer queries related to shipping status, delays, or documentation.
8. Communicate with internal departments to align export operations.
9. Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to export shipments in a timely manner.
Requirements
1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Shipping, or any related fields.
2. 2+ years of experience in export operations, preferably with a shipping line or freight forwarding company.
3. Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures, and port operations.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software.
5. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
6. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
7. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
