PUBLIC NOTICE
RESULTS FOR THE ORAL INTERVIEW
Dar es Salaam, 27th May, 2025:
As you may recall that, the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) announced 1,596 job vacancies at the beginning of February 2025, receiving a total of 135,027 job applications. Out of these, 113,023 candidates were invited to participate in the written screening examination after meeting the necessary criteria. This examination took place on March 29 and 30, 2025. Those who succeeded in the written were
subsequently invited to the oral interview stage, which occurred from May 12 to 14, 2025, with 6,325 candidates attending the interviews.
In a special acknowledgment, the Tanzania Revenue Authority expresses its gratitude to H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, for approving the Authority's request to increase the number of job positions by 300. These additional positions were allocated in the
2025/26 Financial Year Budget, resulting in a total of 1,896 positions to be filled instead of the initial 1,596.
The Authority wishes to inform all job applicants who participated in the oral interview process that, the results will be released tomorrow, May 28, 2025, via the email addresses they used to apply for the positions. The 1,896 successful candidates who have been selected for job are required to report to their assigned venues on June 2, 2025, at 7:00 AM, without fail, bringing withthem the necessary documents as specified in their emails.
The Authority thanks all applicants who expressed interest in working with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and wishes them the best in contributing to the nation's development. Additionally, the 4,429 applicants who participated in the oral interviews but were not selected will have their information retained in the Authority's database for future opportunities.
