Committee makes decision on JKT Queens Vs Simba Queens Match

The Women's Soccer Committee has today made its decision on the JKT Queens Vs Simba Queens Match which was scheduled for January 8, 2024, but never took place as Simba Queens turned up at the Azam Complex in Chamazi, Dar es Salaam  alongside the match officials and waited for JKT Queens to show up but the Army team didn't . 

Instead JKT Queens were also at the same time , at the Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Mbweni , Dar es Salaam waiting for Simba Queens to turn up apparently.

 Tanzania's Football Federation (TFF) Therefore have released the following statement on this JKT Queens Vs Simba Queens and also the Alliance Girls Vs Geita Queens match , the TFF statement follows below ;-

The Women's Soccer Committee in its last session reviewed various sports incidents in the Women's Premier League (WPL) and made decisions.

MATCH NUMBER 16 - JKT QUEENS VS SIMBA QUEENS

The committee is satisfied without doubt that the JKT Queens Club received information about the relevant game to be played at Azam Complex, in Chamazi before the day of the game and on the day of the game on January 8, 2024 in the match preparation session (MCM), the Chairman of The meeting reminded about the time and the arena that will be used for the game.

After going through the information of the game, the Committee has recommended the JKT Queens club be deducted five (5) points and a fine of  Three million shillings (3,000,000/-) in accordance with Rule 32.1-3 of Women's Premier League 2023 Edition.

The committee has given the Simba Queens team three (3) points and three (3) goals for in accordance with Rule 18:45 of the Women's Premier League Edition 2023. The Committee has also banned the General Secretary of JKT Queens, Duncan Maliyabwana from engaging in football activities for a period of twelve (12) months in accordance with Rule 32: 1.5 Women's Premier League Edition 2023.


MATCH NUMBER 3- ALLIANCE GIRLS VS GEITA QUEENS

The committee is satisfied that the Alliance Girls Club committed fraud and used the player Nelly Kache in game number 3 against Geita Queens knowing that she is not eligible to play.

The committee agreed that Alliance Girls made a mistake and therefore they lose the game, and Geita Queens has been given a victory of 3 points and 3 goals in accordance with the Rule 48:23 of the Premier League Women Edition 2023. Also Alliance Girls has been fined Five hundred thousand Shillings (500,000/-).

Alliance Girls team manager, Thereza Chacha has been fined Five hundred thousand Shillings (500,000/-) for providing incorrect information/documents about player Nelly Kache (license) to play in the game that. The punishment is in accordance with Rule 47:13 of the Premier Women's League regarding the Control of Leaders.

Player Nelly Kache has been fined Five hundred thousand Shillings (500,000/-) in accordance with Rule 42:11 about Player Control.

End of the Statement from The Tanzania's Football Federation (TFF) . 

These decisions will have immediate repercussions on the Tanzania Women's Premier League Table 2023/2024 as it means Simba Queens will now go top of the League with 22 Points , while JKT Queens fall back to second place with 16 Points, they previously had 21 points. While Alliance Girls and Geita Gold Queens will interchange their positions at the bottom end of the table.
