education. This includes developing and implementing curriculum
frameworks, providing teacher training and ensuring access to education

The
ministry is also responsible for promoting and developing policies
related to science and technology. This includes supporting research and
development activities, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and
promoting the use of technology to improve the quality of life for
Tanzanians.
In addition, the ministry is responsible for
coordinating and implementing policies related to higher education,
including universities, vocational and technical training institutions
and other tertiary education institutions.
