He achieved this impressive feat by scoring consecutively in 16 different seasons with the Azam FC and Simba SC, beating veteran Mohmmed Hussein 'Mmachinga' previous record , who scored 153 goals in 13 consecutive seasons.
The goal was the 70th goal for the captain in the NBC Premier League since he joined Simba in 2017, with this being his seventh season with the Msimbazi Giants , which combined with the 84 he scored in the nine seasons he played for Azam makes for a total of 154 goals , he has solidified his status and given tough work to young and upcoming players to beat the new impressive record he has set.

Bocco's record of scoring in 16 consecutive seasons started when he championed Azam FC promotion drive into the Premier League in 2007 and then started playing in the top flight league in the 2008-2009 season when he scored one goal before spending the next 15 consecutive seasons and chasing the record set by Mmachinga between 1993 and 2005 when he retired , having served Bandari Mtwara, Yanga, Simba, Mmbanga FC and Twiga Sports clubs.
