Ewura Announces New fuel Prices | Bei Mpya za Mafuta November 2022. The Energy and Water Services Regulatory Authority (EWURA), has announced the Cap Prices for petroleum products in Tanzania. These prices will be effective from Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at one minute past Midnight.

The price of retail diesel fuel in Dar es Salaam and Tanga for November 2022 has decreased by 31 shillings/liter and 34/liter, respectively compared to those prices in October 2022 because of the subsidy.

The retail price of petroleum oil at the Port of Dar es Salaam would increase by 110 shillings/liter, however, the Government has given a subsidy so that the current price of October 2022 will not change. In the case of Mtwara, no ship has been included in the price for November 2022 because the ship is expected to unload oil at the end of November 2022 and its oil will be used in December 2022. Therefore, the price change for November 2022 for Mtwara is to include the correct information of the ship relevant applied to October 2022 prices.

The price of kerosene and the price of petrol in Tanga has decreased by 164 shillings/liter and 118 shillings/liter compared to the previous prices due to the lower average price of refined oil in the world market and transportation costs to Tanga port. Table No. 1 shows prices for November 2022 without and with subsidies.
