Al Hilal of Sudan this Sunday night have beaten Yanga SC of Tanzania 1-0 in a game which was a TotalEnergies CAF Champions league 2nd preliminary round second leg tie, after the first one which was played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania ended Yanga 1-1 Al Hilal.
The lone goal scorer was Mohamed Yusuph, who scored in the 3rd minute at Sudanese side home ground , the Al-Hilal Stadium. Al Hilal advance to the champions league Group stage with 2 - 1 Aggregate scoreline.
Following the results, Yanga have failed to reach the group stage, the last time Yanga reached the group stage was in 1998.
Now that Yanga has been undone in the group stage of the CAF African Champions League , their focus will be in the CAF Confederations Cup and domestic competitions.
